Bayou outside New Orleans
Time: 11:34am
The sun shone down upon the New Orleans swamp. The trees blocking out the light in some areas causing shadows to show on the waters. The shadows flickered with every bug and fish that touched down upon them or swam through the murky swamp water. A car came to a stop on the edge of the road that traveled though the bayou waters. It was a black van the light shone harshly off of the vehicle. One of the car doors were pushed open and a black belted boot touched the hard dirt, another booted foot landed next to the first causing dust to rise up and settle on the shoes. A man stood out of the van, he stood at least 6ft. His shoulder length black hair had red highlights going through it. The hair falling in front only covered half of his face, revealing a sapphire blue eye. His skin was the color of someone mixed with different races or from somewhere near the Caribbean islands. He had on a long red trench coat and black pants both contradicting to the Louisiana heat. The only thing on him that looked like it could keep him cool was the white shirt he had halfway unbutton showing part of his well toned athletic upper body. He glanced back as another person climbed out of the back of the van from the doors located on the back. This one was a young woman. She was the same skin tone as the man but her hair was a chocolate brown shade. She had on an over-sized button down white shirt that hid her figure if she had any, over that she had on a brown cloth vest. Her bangs fell messily over her oddly colored ruby red eyes. The rest of her hair was pulled back in a ponytail that ended over the back of her dark gray baggy slacks She sighed and reached back into the van pulling out two pairs of knee high rubber boots.
“Here” she mumbled throwing a pair to the man. He grunted and caught them leaning against the van to shove them on. He glanced over at the girl and saw her already trudging into the bayou.
“Hey wait up Luna!” he shouted running after her causing water and mud to slosh as he fell in step behind her
“Wow.” she mumbled as some mud splashed on her pants leg right over the boot since she was a good ten inches shorter then him.
“Sorry” he said ahead of her. Luna glared back at him
“Look Kohryu can we just get this over with?” she said turning to face him “She should be somewhere around here, you go look over there!” she said pointing in another direction and wading off. Kohryu blinked and trudged off in the area she pointed out
“Gosh sister so young and yet oh so cruel” he mumbled out as the parted. Luna sighed and kept wading though the marsh like area. She looked up and frowned, smelling the air. She gagged and almost toppled over when the smell hit her harder then a ton of bricks.
“My God!” she shouted steadying herself. She covered her mouth and nose with her sleeve and started in the direction of the smell. She walked forward the smell getting stronger with each step making her wanna stop and see if she could view what she had for breakfast one more time. She didn’t and kept on into the area where the smell was coming from. Luna gazed down disgusted at the body. It was a woman, her skirt was twisted around her legs of someone running for there life. She was lying face first in the mud and shallow bayou water. Her blond hair laid out around her. The body baking in that sunny area while submerged in mud created a less then pleasing smell. Luna gasped for air and backed against a cypress to steady herself. She pulled out her walkie talkie almost dropping with how fast she pulled it off of her belt. “Kohryu,Yeah call them” she mumbled coughing “I found her.”
