Time: 1:15 pm
Luna glanced up at the mortician as she worked. Her pale blond hair was pulled back into a bun to keep it out of her face. Her bangs were cut neatly over her haunting orange eyes. It was ironic really that she was the mortician considering that she was of a corpse pale skin tone, but it suited her.
“How do you deal with the smell Tori?” Luna asked glancing up at her again.
“You get used to it” Tori stated as she examined the body, her black lab coat rustling with every move she made. Luna rolled her eyes at the response and continued flipping through the little pink memo pad that she had found not to far from the body, she hated that color with a passion. Kohryu came walking into the lab, his jacket thrown across a chair somewhere in his office.
“Hey Tori, Luna.” he said as he reached them. “So what can you two tell me about our little bayou rose?” he sighed sitting in a chair in front of a computer and gesturing to the woman’s body.
“Bayou Rose?” Tori asked looking up at him as he sat down.
“Why Not?” Kohryu asked shrugging “Luna and me”
“Luna and I” Luna mumbled correcting her brother
“Luna and I,” he continued, rolling his eyes at his younger sibling, “found her in a bayou and she is …was very pretty so she’s a rose.” he stated simply, turning in the chair so he could rest his arms on the back of it.
“Careful big bro,” Luna mumbled looking up at him, “roses have thorns” she said smirking.
“Whatever, just tell me what you found out about her. Steel and Kai are going to be here soon so we can try to find the place where she was last seen” Kohryu said resting his head in his arms on the chairs back.
“Fine, her name was Katharina Frame” Luna said holding up her I.D “Oh and I have a pretty good idea where Trina here was last seen.” she said pointing to two addresses written in the memo pad.
“That’s great and all but your going to start and investigation without us?” a man’s voice said causing them to turn toward the door. A tall man stood there, the sun standing out behind him. He was built like a swimmer with a thin but obviously toned body. His deep purple hair was pulled into a tail that left his pretty face open to view. His bronze eyes were surrounded by thick lashes that made him look even more intelligent.
“Hello Kai” Tori mumbled glancing up at him.
Kohryu blinked and waved “Hey Kai, Where’s Steel?” as he said this a shorter, but considerably more muscular man walked up beside Kai. He grinned boyishly and he was very handsome. He was built a bit stockier than Kohryu, the same amount of muscle just scrunched into a smaller body. His silvery gray hair was messy and wavy from being wet, but it fit him. His eyes were a deep black, he and Kai were clearly related. “Hey Steel” Kohryu said smiling at him
“Hi guys!” Steel said sitting next to Kohryu “What happened to her?” he asked blinking curiously at the body.
“Not sure” Tori mumbled writing something down “Finished.” she said pointing to the report and walking over to enter it in the computer’s files. Luna leaned over the table to read the report. It stated

Status: Multiple lesions on the arms and throat two puncture wounds on her jugular veins and abrasions on wrist and body has been drained of blood- before death. Stab wounds on abdomen-postmortem.
Cause of Death: Puncture wounds on neck made by some type of two-pronged device or by an animal with fangs and the drainage of blood or blood lose
Luna blinked at the report and handed it to Kohryu. Steel and Kai leaned over his shoulder and read it with him.
“An animal?” Kai said looking at Tori
“And the stab wounds were postmortem meaning…” Kohryu trailed off in his thoughts
“Yes that someone wanted to make that look like the cause of death and that they stabbed her after she died” Tori said glancing back at them
“Well I don’t think an animal can stab anyone” Steel said blinking at the report “So a person could have done it” he stated scratching his head in confusion.
“Or they could have been working with an animal” Kai said leaning on the wall.
Luna blinked and stood up ”That’s great and all but we have to go question the people at these addresses and try to see if anyone’s connected to her or at the least saw her” she said standing up and walking out of the room. “See ya Tori.”
Tori nodded in response and resumed her work. Kohryu glanced back at Kai and Steel
“Well boys” he said smirking at them “Looks like were going on a field trip” he stated walking after Luna
Downtown New Orleans, Café Dumont
Time: 2:45pm
Kai pushed the café’s door open, smirking as one of the waitresses stopped mid-order to goggle at him. Steel was close behind, but all he wanted was a benae. Kai watched him run up to the counter, rolling his eyes. He strode over to the waitress who had finally finished her order.
“Excuse me Miss?” She blinked and blushed as he withdrew his badge.
“I’m with the police and I was wondering if I could have a word.” She nodded and lead Kai to a secluded area.
“What’s the trouble sir?” She batted her eyelashes and Kai smiled back. “I was wondering, did a tall, very pretty blond woman come to your shop earlier today? Her name is Katrina Frame?”
She thought and nodded “Yes sir, she’s a regular. Passes through about twice a week. Why is she in trouble?”
“No ma’am.” Kai stated frowning “She’s dead.”
Steel, meanwhile was observing the other customers while he scarped down the powered sugar covered pastries. A tall man was sitting in a dark corner of the restaurant, wearing a full trench coat and a wide brimmed hat in 90 degree weather. “What a freak.” Steel though, and as he said this the guy got up and sat at the counter next to Steel.
”Beautiful weather we’re having hmm?” he said causing Steel to glance at him. Steel was terrified of him for some unknown reason. He was very pale and had the deepest green eyes he’d ever seen.
“Uh huh.” Steel responded quietly. The man had dark chocolate colored hair, very wavy. It was unusually long for the day, half down his back.
“Is that your friend that police-man is talking to?” he asked Steel, causing him glance at the waitress.
“No, never seen her before. Errm I’m Steel.” Steel said smiling nervously.
“Gabrielle.” he mumbled stating his name “She’s beautiful isn’t she?” he asked Steel quietly. Steel glanced at her and shrugged.
“I don’t really care for blonds…” He said as his mind started spinning.
“Really? I adore them.” Gabrielle said looking over at Steel and smirking. Steel’s eyes widen and he blinked in shock.
“That’s… uh…uh…. R…really interesting. N…nice talking to you Gabrielle!” Steel said quickly getting up and running towards Kai. Kai had gotten the information he needed but the girl really was pretty so he decided to take his time.
“Kai I think we need to leave, NOW.” Steel said glancing back at Gabrielle in a panic
Kai glared at him.
“Why?” he asked his glare remaining
“I’ll tell you in the car. Miss, don’t go anywhere alone.” Steel said pulling Kai out and looking at the waitress. They both left, Steel terrified, Kai annoyed.
“Ohhhh we’re dead!” Steel said fast walking to his side of the car
Kai climbed in the car and Steel got in the other door.
“Now, why did we leave?” Kai asked him a bit angry
“I’m not sure but I think that guy is the killer, he said he loves blonds and I think he’s a vampire or something” Steel said explaining his theories to Kai. Kai blinked as response.
“Steel, there are lots of creepy guys who like blonds.” he said sighing
“Yeah but how many of them have fangs!?” Steel said looking at him panicking.
Kai sighed and started the car. “No more late night horror movies for you or sugar for that matter” he mumbled driving down the road.
